What Are Awning Windows?
Awning windows share many similarities with casement windows, with the location of the hinge being the main distinguishing feature. Awning Windows are hinged at the top of the window sash, so the window opens outward from the bottom at a 45° angle. The elegant styling of awning windows provides exceptional ventilation for the areas of your home where added airflow is desirable, such as bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living rooms. The convenient operating design of Awning Windows allows you to enjoy the fresh air even when it’s raining outside.
Window Mart’s Canadian-made vinyl awning windows feature fusion welded corners and interior multi-chamber construction to maximize structural integrity, insulation, thermal efficiency, and durability no matter the conditions they are faced with. Also every awning window is equipped with a multi-point locking system. It improves security and insulation, making them highly thermal efficient windows.
